Community and child safety standards

Covalent is for adults aged 18 and over. Harassment, threats, hate, sexual exploitation, grooming, and child sexual abuse material are prohibited. Never request, create, upload, or distribute such material through Covalent.

Report and block

Use Report message next to a chat message, or Report a problem to report a member. Blocking hides messages between your accounts and can be managed under Blocked members (Settings → Privacy and devices on the website, You in the app). Reports are sent to the moderation team; blocking alone does not submit a report.

Moderation and escalation

Our team reviews reports and can remove content and delete offending accounts. Child exploitation concerns require urgent review and escalation to the appropriate child-protection or law-enforcement authority as required by applicable law. Do not redistribute illegal material when contacting support.

Contact the team for safety concerns at admin.covalent@gmail.com. Covalent is not an emergency service and does not monitor conversations continuously. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or one of the crisis lines.
